Testimonials (what a joy!)

As a result of the work, I'm a lot nicer to my body.  I don't endure exercise for the someday benefit of getting thin.  I don't delay my happiness that way.  I move my body just enough to feel good *now*, and I listen to my body about when to stop - and when to start again.  
     More and more often since doing the work, it's the same for food.  Far more often I'm using the food I eat to feel better physically by eating what would nourish me, instead of using food to feel better emotionally.  I have other ways to make me feel better emotionally.

Makayla is just so awesome in all the ways. She makes me feel so good. She is so warm and kind and gentle and intuitive. She took me to places [with the tapping processes] in such a way I didn't know they were coming. I was surprised and amazed by how deep our work went. Our work opened me up to a deeper connection with my body. It feels much easier to love and accept myself wherever I'm at on a given day. Makayla’s a really great coach--she’s easy to talk to and non-judgmental. For pretty much my whole life I’ve used food to soothe my emotions and to avoid my feelings. I also tended to overbook myself so I wouldn’t have time to address my emotions. Makayla really helped with my specific issues so I could dig into all of the stuff going on underneath my relationship with food. Specifically, she guided me through regression tapping so I was able to take the emotions out of the food. She also created personalized audios for me to help with issues around family, relationships, and stress (all of which reflected in my eating patterns and weight), which I found incredibly helpful. Today, I’m not so concerned about my weight, and I feel good about my body and my relationship to food, so I have a lot more time and energy to really focus on my life and what I want out of it. It’s actually pretty incredible!

Working with Makayla helped me to finally address the emotional side of my relationship to food. The sessions became my therapy, connecting to those emotions and how they were interacting with my body and food choices.  With the use of EFT in one on one coaching sessions, Makayla gently walked me through the process to better understand how my past relationships, experiences and circumstances had created my triggers to overeat.  With that clearer understanding, and by releasing them with EFT, food choices slowly started becoming a conscious choice, not the whim of an emotional trigger, and thus healthier!  

Makayla helped me to process the terrain of emotional eating and finally confront and release what I could not see for myself.  I finally freed myself of self-sabotaging thoughts and excuses that looped over and over in my mind, I now no longer second guess myself. Because of the wonderful work with tapping and coaching on the emotional side of my relationship to food, I have easily adopted a new (and successful!) plan for eating, which would not have been possible before. I look at food from a completely different angle now. I totally recommend tapping and working one on one with a coach!

​Things are in the best place they've ever been; I feel happy and fulfilled in my body and in my relationships. I am in a place of really deep acceptance. I'm ok with myself in a way that never felt accessible before. The biggest change is that I used to feel like there was a line between my head and my body. I struggled to sit in my body: I was numb and disconnected. My head knew what to do but my body couldn't get on board. My work with Makayla helped break that line into a beautiful flowing energy. I discovered that I have strong, deep, wise intuition that I have the tools to tune into.
 
My desire to lose weight used to come from a place of 'not good enough', now I'm focused on taking care of myself and making loving choices that help me to feel good. Through my work with Makayla, I was able to face the fears that were holding me back. I've been able to move forward in ways I never would have without this work. I am now in a loving, supportive relationship with the most amazing man. Makayla and I did so much work on the barriers I had put up around my heart, I feel like we broke them down together and opened the door to the best relationship I could imagine!

Makayla has the ability to see deeper into what we really needed to work on - I often felt like she could see directly into my soul! She made me feel safe in a way that nobody ever has before, so I was able to be really vulnerable and say whatever I needed to without shame. Now I have shed so much shame that was holding me back. I used to stay silent and try not to rock the boat; now I feel able to put myself out into the world and say what I need to say without the fear that used to keep me small. To support our work, Makayla made tap-along recordings that I used daily and those helped me feel engaged with the process between our sessions.

I am forever grateful for Makayla and her work, she really did change my life!

Makayla met me where I was, which wasn't a great place, and she was patient, encouraging, and flexible with how she worked with me. I know I would not have had the confidence to move forward with all of the things I've done, that I needed for myself, without this work. Hello from beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
 In working with Makayla, I immediately felt calmer and more able to handle the stress of daily life. She gently reminded me of my own power and assisted in the powerful healing of past trauma and that has stayed with me.

One of the most pivotal moments in working with Makayla was a powerful guided visualization of my highest self. I often tap back into that self to gain power and guidance.
