Use this technique for foods (or beverages) that you specifically crave. This is when you feel like the good feelings are stuck in the food, drink or object (you can do this with the TV or computer too). The focus here is to reclaim the good feelings from the food and give them back to yourself. You then share them with a being or presence that feels really safe and good. If you don't have a specific happy memory of sharing the food with someone, then imagine sharing the ball of light with your younger self who used to eat food like this. Besides beloved family members or friends, I've had people share with cats, dogs, trees, light, or angels. Sharing with your past self is my favorite.
